2025 Year in Review
In 2025, I wanted to dig deeper into the subject of AI and drive further research and impact. I’m pleased to share this was achieved and surpassed expectations.
From launching my second book, to participating in EU AI policy dialogues, and meeting with members of parliament… 2025 was a very interesting year!
A few highlights below:
Toju Duke, Gina Neff, Mike Batt and Holly Hamilton at BBC One’s Sunday Morning Live
Launched my second book “Responsible AI in Practice”, co-authored with Paolo Giudici.
Received several recognitions from being a Top Tech Voice and featuring on the Top Tech Voices podcast, to a recognition from LinkedIn as a one of the top 12 AI Voices in Europe, and another as one of the global top 20 AI speakers by The AI Speakers Agency.
Launched my first online course on Responsible AI with The Gen AI Academy. The course has now been licensed by one of the top multibillion companies in the world, and is available for all its employees.
Delivered keynotes at key events in Kazakhstan and provided advisory to members of its parliament on both occasions. Also joined a meeting with the prime ministers of the Eurasia region - listening to the plans for AI sovereignty across the various countries was quite interesting!
Commenced the critical project of building the first-of-its-kind 5M image dataset with Diverse AI focusing on the global south.
Recently joined NeeevAI as an advisor supporting its Responsible AI implementation and global government strategies. NeeevAI is a fast-growing company building the next generation of AI creators.
Participated once again in the European University Institute’s AI policy dialogue, discussing important ways AI can be beneficial to politics, drive diversity and benefit the citizens of the EU.
Also delivered several keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, hackathons, etc., across the world from Dubai, Italy, Kazakhstan, and many locations in the UK.
